About Me

Welcome.

I’m Nadia, a counsellor based in Rochford. I support adult people who want to understand themselves more deeply, soften old patterns, and move toward a steadier sense of self‑worth and belonging.

I feel privileged to have supported clients through stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, abuse, grief, and loss. I offer therapeutic counselling with warmth and empathy, and hold a diploma in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and a BA (Hons) in Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies, as well as working on my continuing professional development.

I believe you are the expert of your own story, and you have unique strengths that will help you overcome life’s challenges. If you’re curious about therapy or wondering whether now is the right time, you’re welcome to explore the site and reach out when you’re ready.

How do I work

A way of working shaped around you.

Sessions are a space to explore what's happening in your inner world — your thoughts, feelings, patterns, relationships, and the stories you carry. I work online and face to face, and together we find a rhythm that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

You don't need to arrive with a clear goal, and you don't need to know where to begin. We start exactly where you are.

Get in Touch

Relational

The relationship we build together sits at the heart of the work — steady, honest, and unhurried.

Person-Centred

You lead the way. I follow your pace and trust you as the expert of your own story.

Mindfulness

Gentle, present-moment awareness that helps you notice patterns and respond rather than react.

Integrative

A blend of approaches, adapted to what you bring, so the work fits you rather than a template.

Session Formats

Choose the format that feels right.

Whether you prefer to meet in person, online, or by telephone, every session offers the same warmth, privacy, and unhurried time dedicated to you.

In-Person Sessions

A calm, private consulting room where you can set aside the demands of daily life and settle into the work.

Online Counselling

Secure video sessions that let you connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home, wherever you are.

Telephone Support

Voice-only sessions for those who prefer a quieter, screen-free way to be heard and understood.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions.

A few things you might be wondering about before we begin. If your question isn't here, you're always welcome to reach out.

Ask a Question
1 What happens in a first session?

A first session gives us a chance to meet and see whether it feels right to work together. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you'd like support with, and any questions or concerns you have. There's no pressure to share everything at once—we go at a pace that feels manageable.

2 How often do sessions take place?

Most people come weekly, at the same time each week. Sometimes we agree on a different rhythm depending on your needs and circumstances. We'll discuss what feels sustainable for you.

3 Is everything confidential?

I treat what you share in sessions with care and confidentiality. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions—such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else—which I can talk through clearly so you know where the boundaries are.

4 How can I contact you?

You can reach me anytime via my contact page or email. I respond quickly—usually within three business days.
